Welcome to the site for Gary Ellis Kenpo Karate, and thank you for looking us up!
Gary Ellis started teaching Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate in 1979 opening his first club here in Plymouth U.K. in 1980.
An 8th Degree Black Belt and Associate Master of the Arts Gary Ellis was Ed Parker's Representative in England from 1981 to Ed Parker's Passing in December 1990.
A first Generation Student of Ed Parker and Lee Wedlake, Gary Ellis' credentials are second to none.
Our Kenpo Karate Studio is based here in Plymouth U.K. and we hold regular classes for all ages in Kenpo Karate and Tai Chi.
We teach Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate and Cheng Man Ching's Tai Chi Chuan.
We are a community based studio and work hard within the Plymouth area to promote Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate and self defence for all the family.
Gary Ellis Kenpo Karate Studio provides a specially developed Junior syllabus for the next generation of Kenpo in the UK.
Your children will learn life skills and self defence at the same time, in a safe, fun and family-oriented environment.
All our classes are conducted in a positive family friendly atmosphere which promotes learning and sharing and they are of course lots of fun!
