-- Gary Ellis Kenpo Karate --

Testimonials

"Gary does a wonderful job combining Kenpo with fun activities to engage the Little Dragons in healthy activity building concentration, focus and self reliance.

Both my boys thoroughly enjoy Kenpo with Gary; they have learnt self defence technique and show great enthusiasm to continue in this healthy activity. Together with Karate Gary develops their focus and self reliance and makes direct links with every day life and their school based learning."

"I bring several children to Karate twice a week. They are all enthusiastic and really enjoy the sessions. They have all benefitted from increased confidence and self esteem. Certainly my son is respectful and aware of how his actions affect those around him. It's great to see all the children grow!
Many Thanks"

Sarah Hart

"My children both love coming to Karate. They have improved on their concentration a lot and they enjoy the company of the other children. They also like the teachers. Keep up the good work guys!"

"I started training in Kenpo in 1996 - since then I've come a long way. The training has given me a lot more confidence and ability to help out and teach something I could never have done before I started training. Looking back over the years I have some great memories and some fantastic experiences.
Gary Ellis has been teaching for over 30 years with Mark Richards. I would't like to guess how many students have been through the doors. The main thing I have noticed is that they are always improving the classes and not letting lessons get boring. You just have to watch the Kenpo Kids Classes to see this high energy and very motivating environment."

Dave Taylor

"I would thoroughly recommend this club to anyone. It has two excellent lead instructors who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the martial arts and have been taught directly by Ed Parker who was the founder of the Kenpo system. The classes are taught in a friendly atmosphere with a lot of good humour and the Kenpo system is very effective for self defence, but also has a huge amount of depth and is really good fun to learn with a great bunch of people.
I'd also recommend trying the Tai Chi classes. The mixture of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and weapon forms taught are ideal for chilling out and for overall health as well as being a really interesting martial art to learn. Definately worth giving it a go!"

ethan has always been a cleverboy, yet there has been 'something different' about him since an early age. he is currently being tested for an 'autistic spectrum disorder'.
He has shown an interest in Karate for a while but as Ethan is reluctant to meet new people, we knew we had to do our 'homework' and find the 'perfect' class. We needed someone would understand about Ethan's behaviour, be patient and get the best out of him. Ethan really looks forwards to the lessons. He appears a lot happier and more socialble. He seems to have grown more confident and has come out of his shell. He is physically mor fitter and his attention is a lot sharper and more focussed.
He thrives on it and I put it all down to Gary Ellis and his style of teaching.
i would highly recommend Karate club to anyone.
